Rice Balls Birthday!

Well I must say we have tried to give Rice Ball a birthday she will remember. We all had an awesome weekend together. Trip 103 was great! Only one thing wrong though, our little Hattie Bit was not there! We will have 104 with her for sure. We went to the big Halloween party at Pam and Charlies on Sat night, decorated cakes, carved pumpkins, laughed and ate and topped the evening off with a cat problem, wont go into that though! Sunday was the actual trip to the lovely painted houses which photos really do not do any justice. They were so mystical and magical and felt like you were a child again. Had a lovely meal at The Port and off to the Ross's for an awesome homemade birthday cake. Today we had a surprise luncheon here at my place with a guest visitor Susan. I know we will here story's of her family supper soon. Life is good!

The Empty Nest Syndrome All Over Again!

Well, this is always a hard weekend for me sending my son Ryan back to university. This year it is even more different as he is getting an apt. with 3 other lads. His birthday is Sept 3. and it will be the first time we were not able to spend his real birthday with him so we are celebrating today Sunday Aug. 31 as we are leaving tomorrow morning bright and early to take him back. Hard to believe he is going to be 20 in a few days. Where does the time go? I always think No, this year I am not going to be shedding tears and today just writing his birthday card the flood started, oh well it must be a mother thing eh? Well I will be going now just had to get that all off my chest and this is good for that. Until another day!

Trip 102

Well well well, lilly pad ponds, walking for lunch, being too loud and getting dirty looks from people that will never get access to the bus. Clams, coffee, all those coolers (2) and the lovely view from the patio. Hattie bits pop up pic from the car. Our new friends from the Liverpool liquor store. I could go on and on. It was a fabulous foursome once again. Mermaids live forever! Love you all.

Wednesday, Aug 13

Oh where can I begin, I had a great day with Tambie, Skully and I think it may be Sparkle or Hattie Bit would be good as she loves to try on hats. Oh well we will have to decide before the next gig next week. Today I am heading down to Darlings Lake with my mom. HOpe to see a nice sunny beach somewhere! I will let you know tomorrow when I get back!

Trip 101

Ok, you've got me started! Cant wait until trip 101, the anticipation of it all is just too much to handle. I am trying to be very organized and bring everything possible for this trip! See you all tomorrow morning as the adventure begins. 8.30 will not come soon enough! Spoonster!
